Precision radiation tested for better cancer pain relief

NCT ID NCT06065449

Summary

This study aims to find out if a more precise, high-dose form of radiation therapy (SBRT) is better at relieving pain from cancer that has spread to bones than the standard radiation treatment. It will enroll 220 adults with painful bone metastases from solid cancers. The main goal is to see which treatment provides better and longer-lasting pain relief three months after treatment.
