Radiation 'Rescue' attempted for failing cancer immunotherapy
NCT ID NCT02710253
Summary
This study is testing if targeted radiation can help control cancer that has spread and started growing again after treatment with immunotherapy drugs. It will involve about 230 adults with metastatic solid tumors or blood cancers. Researchers aim to see if this 'salvage' radiation can stop or shrink cancer elsewhere in the body and to monitor side effects.
