Radiation boost after CAR-T: a new shot at fighting stubborn lymphoma

NCT ID NCT04473937

Summary

This small, early-stage study tested whether adding a short course of radiation therapy could help control lymphoma that did not fully respond to CAR-T cell therapy. The goal was to see if radiation could improve the body's immune response against the cancer and work together with the CAR-T cells. The study was terminated early after enrolling only 3 participants, so results are very limited.
