20,000 patients to help uncover hidden risks of common artery procedure

NCT ID NCT07614386

First seen Jun 02, 2026

Summary

This study will follow 20,000 people undergoing routine heart or blood vessel procedures through a small artery in the wrist (radial or ulnar artery). What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

What this could lead to

What could go wrong

This is an observational study, not a treatment trial. It collects data only, so it cannot directly improve outcomes. Results may not apply to other hospitals or patient groups.
