First seen Dec 16, 2025 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 33 times

Summary

This study tests a new surgical technique called RADAR for creating blood vessel connections needed for dialysis in 200 adults with end-stage kidney disease. The goal is to see if this less invasive method leads to fewer blockages and better long-term function compared to the standard approach. Participants are randomly assigned to receive either the RADAR or traditional fistula surgery.
