Gene therapy duo takes on tough lung cancer

Summary
This study tests a new gene therapy (quaratusugene ozeplasmid) combined with an immunotherapy drug (atezolizumab) as maintenance treatment for people with extensive-stage small cell lung cancer. The goal is to see if this combination can keep the cancer from growing longer than standard care. About 62 adults whose cancer responded to initial chemo-immunotherapy will participate.
