Summary

This study looks at children with congenital melanocytic nevi (large birthmarks) who choose to have them surgically removed. Researchers want to see if removal improves quality of life and reduces feelings of being stigmatized. About 100 children aged 9 months to 16 years will be followed before and after surgery using questionnaires and interviews.
