Heart care goes beyond medicine: hospital tests Quality-of-Life tracking

NCT ID NCT07680270

First seen Jul 02, 2026 · Last updated Jul 02, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether simple questionnaires can effectively measure quality of life in heart patients and job satisfaction in their caregivers. Over 1,100 participants from a French hospital will complete surveys before and after procedures like pacemaker insertion or heart surgery. The goal is to build a database that could eventually help improve both patient care and hospital work environments.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

What this could lead to

If successful, this could help hospitals better understand patient well-being and caregiver satisfaction, leading to improved care and work environments.

What could go wrong

This is an early feasibility study focused on measurement, not treatment. It may not lead to direct health improvements or be generalizable to other hospitals.
