First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study tested a new eye drop called QLS-111 in 37 adults with normal tension glaucoma, a type of glaucoma where eye pressure is not very high but still damages the optic nerve. The goal was to see if QLS-111 is safe and tolerable compared to a standard eye drop (timolol). Researchers measured side effects and how well each drop lowered eye pressure throughout the day.
