New hope for tough esophageal cancer: phase 3 trial launches

Summary
This study tests a new drug called QLC5508 against standard chemotherapy in people with advanced esophageal cancer that has worsened after prior treatment. About 466 adults will be randomly assigned to receive either QLC5508 or a chemotherapy chosen by their doctor. The main goal is to see if QLC5508 helps people live longer.
