Could a Two-Drug combo outsmart advanced cervical cancer?

NCT ID NCT07652983

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at how well a combination of two drugs, iparomlimab and tuvonralimab (called QL1706), works for people with recurrent or metastatic cervical cancer that has worsened after platinum-based chemotherapy. Researchers will compare outcomes of those receiving QL1706 to those getting standard chemotherapy in routine care. They will also explore whether adding another drug, bevacizumab, improves results and which patients benefit most.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

iparomlimab and tuvonralimab (QL1706)

What this could lead to

If successful, this could show that QL1706-based therapy offers a better treatment option for people with advanced cervical cancer who have not responded to standard chemotherapy.

What could go wrong

This is an observational study, not a controlled trial, so results may be less definitive. The therapy may not prove more effective than existing options and could cause side effects.
