Summary

This study tested whether qigong relaxation exercises can lower anxiety and depression levels in adults hospitalized for depression. Researchers randomly assigned 70 patients to either do qigong or not, and measured their symptoms using standard questionnaires. The goal was to see if this gentle mind-body practice could be a helpful addition to standard psychiatric care.
