First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 33 times

Summary

This study looks at how the mind-body practice of QiGong changes brain activity to help people with chronic low back pain feel better. Researchers will enroll 60 adults with ongoing low back pain and measure changes in pain intensity, body awareness, and mindfulness after QiGong training. The goal is to understand the brain mechanisms behind pain relief, not to test a cure or long-term treatment.
