This study tests a new surgical technique called Q-ISR for people with ultra-low rectal cancer. It compares Q-ISR to two standard surgeries to see if it can better preserve anal function while still effectively removing the cancer. About 100 participants will be followed for short-term safety and long-term recovery of bowel control and cancer outcomes.
