Summary

This study tests whether applying povidone iodine (a disinfectant) to toddlers' teeth before fluoride varnish prevents cavities better than fluoride varnish alone. About 393 children aged 6-24 months with healthy teeth or early white spots will be followed to see which approach reduces decay. The goal is a simple, affordable cavity-prevention routine for young children.
