First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tests whether a simple breathing exercise called pursed-lip breathing can help children aged 3 to 4 with pneumonia. The exercise involves breathing in through the nose and out slowly through pursed lips. Researchers will measure if it improves breathing, heart rate, and oxygen levels, and if it helps children get ready to leave the hospital sooner. The study involves 66 children and their mothers.
