Summary
This study tested whether applying a special gel called PuraBond during surgery to remove mouth or throat lesions helps patients recover better. 73 patients were randomly assigned to either have the gel applied or not during their operation. The main goal was to see if the gel significantly reduced pain in the 30 days after surgery and lowered other complications like bleeding.
