New MRI-Guided radiation shows promise for lung cancer treatment

Summary

This early study tests whether using real-time MRI to guide radiation therapy is possible for people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer. The goal is to see if this personalized approach can reduce side effects and better control tumors. About 30 adults with stage III lung cancer will take part.
