Summary
This study tested two different lengths of a pain-relief procedure called pulsed radiofrequency in 60 adults with long-lasting nerve pain in the lower back and leg. The procedure uses a short burst of energy to calm the nerve root. Researchers compared a 4-minute treatment to an 8-minute treatment to see which provided better pain relief, function, and satisfaction.
