First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looks at whether a pulmonary rehabilitation program—including exercise training, education, and behavior changes—can help patients who need high flow oxygen therapy. Researchers will measure muscle strength, breathing, and daily living skills in 70 participants. The goal is to see if this approach improves recovery and quality of life.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

pulmonary rehabilitation therapy (exercise training, education, and behavioral changes)

What this could lead to

If it works, this could show that a structured rehab program helps people on high flow oxygen get stronger and breathe easier.

What could go wrong

This is a small, early-stage study with only 70 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. The intervention is behavioral, so benefits may vary.
