NCT ID NCT04276116
First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether telling smokers their 'pulmonary age' (how old their lungs act compared to their real age) helps them quit. About 100 adult smokers will visit their doctor, get a lung age test or standard care, and be followed for 12 months. The main goal is to see if more people stop smoking after 6 months with this extra information.
