New study tackles PTSD and obesity together in veterans

Summary

This study tests whether a program that combines PTSD treatment with weight management helps Veterans lose more weight and reduce PTSD symptoms better than standard VA care. About 182 Veterans with PTSD and obesity will take part. The program uses counseling and medication to address both conditions at once.
