New hope for PTSD: major study tests drugs in soldiers and civilians

Summary
This study is testing several new medications to help reduce PTSD symptoms in active-duty service members, veterans, and civilians. About 800 adults aged 18-64 with PTSD will be randomly assigned to receive one of the study drugs or a placebo. The goal is to see if these treatments can safely lower PTSD severity over 12 weeks.
