Could your therapy work better in the morning? new study investigates timing for PTSD treatment

NCT ID NCT05453162

Summary

This study is investigating whether the time of day a person receives therapy affects how well it works for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). It involves 52 adults with PTSD who will receive a standard 10-session therapy called Prolonged Exposure, delivered via video call. Half will have their sessions in the morning, and half in the late afternoon, to see if one time leads to better reduction in fear and PTSD symptoms.
