Summary
This study is testing a new system to help primary care clinics better identify and manage Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). It will involve screening 17,000 adult patients in Chicago clinics, especially in areas with high rates of trauma. The goal is to see if using patient portals for screening and connecting people to on-site mental health services leads to more diagnoses and better care.
