Could a pill help erase bad memories for teens with PTSD?

NCT ID NCT04921982

Summary

This study aimed to see if a drug called propranolol could help reduce PTSD symptoms in teenagers. The idea was to use the drug while having teens recall a traumatic memory, hoping to make the memory less intense and distressing. The goal was to measure if symptoms improved over a year, but the study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
