New hope for Veterans' PTSD? trial tests promising pill

Summary

This study aims to see if a medication called vilazodone is safe and can help control symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). It will involve 200 active-duty service members and veterans. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the real medication or a placebo (a pill with no medicine) for 12 weeks to compare the effects.
