New PTSD program aims to catch and treat trauma earlier in chicago clinics

Summary
This study tests a faster way to find and treat PTSD in primary care clinics on Chicago's South Side, where trauma is common. Researchers will track how many people get screened, diagnosed, and start treatment, and whether their symptoms improve. About 17,000 adults who have had a recent clinic visit will take part.
