Summary
This study looks at brain scans of 156 people experiencing their first episode of psychosis who have never taken antipsychotic medication. Researchers want to understand why some patients get better with treatment while others do not. By comparing brain structure, function, and chemistry before and after medication, they hope to find new ways to help those who don't respond well to current treatments.
