NCT ID NCT00515060

First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study looks at how cancer treatments can cause nerve pain. Researchers will use simple tests like heat, cold, and touch to measure pain sensitivity, and take small skin samples to see if nerve damage is involved. The goal is to better understand this type of pain, not to treat it. The study involves 450 adults with advanced cancer who have pain from chemotherapy.
