Scientists probe mysterious link between arthritis and crippling heel pain
NCT ID NCT03248284
Summary
This study aims to understand what causes painful Achilles tendons in people with psoriatic arthritis. Researchers will take small tissue samples from 30 patients' painful tendons to look for specific immune cells and inflammation markers. The goal is to learn more about the disease process to help develop better future treatments, as current options often don't work well enough.
