Battle against psoriasis itch: which drug works better?

NCT ID NCT07432386

Summary

This study compares two existing medications—methotrexate and apremilast—to see which works better at reducing the severe itching that often accompanies psoriasis. Eighty adults with psoriasis and bothersome itching will take one of the two drugs for eight weeks. Researchers will measure how much the treatment improves their quality of life and reduces their itch.
