Psoriasis patients sought for Diet-and-Scan study

NCT ID NCT06574178

First seen Feb 21, 2026

Summary

This study will use a new, more sensitive total-body PET scanner to measure inflammation in the skin, joints, and blood vessels of people with psoriasis. Researchers want to see if switching from a typical Western diet to a more balanced diet for 6 weeks can reduce that inflammation. The study will enroll 5 adults with psoriasis who are overweight and eat a Western diet.
