AI doctors on screen: a new way to treat psoriasis?

NCT ID NCT07391423

First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looks at whether short, AI-generated videos from a virtual doctor can help people with psoriasis stick to their topical medication routine. Fifteen adults with psoriasis will be split into three groups: one gets weekly AI videos, another gets weekly video calls with a real doctor, and the third gets standard care. The main goal is to see if patients trust and feel comfortable with the AI approach, and whether it improves how often they use their medicine over four weeks.
