New scan could sharpen the picture for kidney cancer treatment

Summary
This study is testing a new type of imaging scan called a 68Ga-PSMA PET scan to see if it's better than standard CT scans at finding where advanced kidney cancer has spread. Researchers will enroll 300 adults with advanced kidney cancer to compare the two scans. The goal is to see if the new scan provides more accurate information that could help doctors make better treatment decisions.
