Summary
This study tested a new type of PET/MRI scan that uses a special tracer to find small spots of prostate cancer that standard scans miss. Men with a rising PSA after prostate surgery and radiation received targeted radiation to those spots. The goal was to see if this approach can detect and treat early cancer spread, potentially controlling the disease without immediate hormone therapy.
