New scan aims to spot hidden prostate cancer earlier
NCT ID NCT03495427
Summary
This study is testing a new type of imaging scan called PSMA-PET to see if it can better detect prostate cancer that has returned or spread in men who are at high risk based on a genetic test. It will enroll 60 men who previously had high-risk genetic test results and were treated for prostate cancer. The goal is to understand if this new scan can find cancer earlier than standard methods, which could help guide future treatment decisions.
