New scan aims to pinpoint hidden prostate cancer

NCT ID NCT05160597

Summary

This study is testing a new imaging method to help doctors find aggressive prostate cancer more accurately. It is for men who have already had a prostate biopsy that was negative or unclear. Researchers will use a special PET scan that highlights prostate cancer cells to guide where to take the next biopsy sample, hoping to improve detection.
