New scan could sharpen liver cancer detection

Summary

This study tests a new type of PET/CT scan that uses a special tracer to see if it can find liver cancer more accurately. About 40 adults with newly diagnosed or suspected returning liver cancer will get this scan. The goal is to improve how doctors detect and monitor the disease.
