Magic mushrooms vs party drug: which helps alcohol addiction more?

Summary
This study is testing whether psilocybin (from magic mushrooms) or ketamine (an anesthetic) works better when combined with therapy to help people reduce heavy drinking. Researchers will compare these two psychedelic treatments in 80 adults with moderate to severe alcohol use disorder. Participants will receive either substance during therapy sessions while researchers track their alcohol use and brain changes.
