State funds psychedelic therapy trial to heal Veterans' trauma

Summary
This study is testing whether guided psilocybin sessions combined with therapy can safely and effectively treat PTSD in US military veterans. Fifteen veterans will receive two psilocybin sessions alongside psychotherapy. Researchers will measure changes in PTSD symptoms, depression, anxiety, and monitor safety over time.
