Magic mushroom therapy: does a guide make a difference?
NCT ID NCT07211438
Summary
This study aims to understand if having a trained guide, or 'monitor,' present during psilocybin therapy sessions improves the treatment for adults with severe depression that hasn't responded to other medications. It will involve 40 participants to test the safety and feasibility of this approach. The goal is to learn how to best support people during this emerging therapy.
