First seen Mar 30, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This early-stage study tests whether psilocybin (the active ingredient in magic mushrooms) combined with talk therapy can safely reduce symptoms in adults with obsessive-compulsive disorder that hasn't improved with standard treatments. Ten participants will receive two 25mg doses two weeks apart. The goal is to see if this approach is feasible, safe, and leads to meaningful symptom relief.
