Summary

This study tests whether psilocybin (the active ingredient in magic mushrooms) combined with therapy can safely ease severe pain in people with advanced cancer that doesn't respond to opioids. Fifteen adults with advanced cancer and persistent pain will receive the treatment and be followed for a few weeks. The goal is to see if this approach is feasible and acceptable, and whether it reduces pain intensity.
