Summary
This study aims to understand the biological causes of Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC), a rare and serious chronic liver disease. Researchers will collect extensive data from about 143 adults with PSC, including blood, tissue, and microbiome samples, to look for patterns in the immune system, gut bacteria, and metabolism. The goal is to gather knowledge to help guide future research and treatments, not to test a new therapy.
