First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tests whether platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections work better than hyaluronic acid (HA) injections for people with advanced knee osteoarthritis (grades III or IV). The goal is to reduce pain and improve knee function, especially for those who cannot have surgery. About 150 adults will receive either PRP or HA injections and be followed for up to 12 months.
