First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests three types of injections for people with chronic neck and shoulder muscle pain caused by trigger points. It compares platelet-rich plasma (PRP), a mix of PRP and steroid, and steroid alone to see which works best. 150 adults aged 18-65 with a single active trigger point will be followed for 6 months. The goal is to find the most effective treatment for reducing pain and improving movement.
