Could a blood treatment revive Low-Ovarian-Response? new study investigates
NCT ID NCT07376460
First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study will analyze blood samples from 10 women with poor ovarian response who are undergoing a treatment called StemCell Regenera. The treatment combines platelet-rich plasma (PRP) with a drug (filgrastim) that mobilizes stem cells from bone marrow into the blood. Researchers will compare the PRP before and after stem cell mobilization to understand which proteins and factors might help reactivate the ovaries. The goal is to learn more about how this approach works at a cellular level, not to directly test a new therapy.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only โ not medical advice or a prediction.
- Active substance
- Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and filgrastim (stem cell mobilizer)
- What this could lead to
- If successful, this could reveal key factors that help reactivate ovaries in women with poor ovarian response, potentially improving future fertility treatments.
- What could go wrong
- This is a very early, small study (10 participants) focused on lab analysis, not patient outcomes. It may not lead to any direct treatment benefit.
