Summary
This study compares two radiation treatments for head and neck cancer to see which causes fewer side effects. Researchers are testing whether proton beam radiation causes less damage to healthy tissue than traditional photon radiation. The main goal is to see if patients receiving proton radiation experience fewer severe mouth sores during treatment.
