New proton beam technique aims to zap Kids' brain tumors with fewer side effects
NCT ID NCT03750513
Summary
This early-stage study is testing a more precise form of proton beam radiation therapy for children with a type of brain tumor called ependymoma. The main goal is to see if this refined technique is safe and causes fewer side effects by better targeting the tumor and sparing healthy brain tissue. Researchers will also track how well the treatment controls the cancer over time.
